Dr. Jeffrey Zawacki

Dr. Zawacki is originally from the Boston area. He attended college at Holy Cross and Medical school at the University of Massachusetts. Surgical training brought him to Chicago where he completed his residency at Loyola University in Maywood. Following residency he further specialized in colon and rectal surgery by completing a fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Zawacki is one of the few board certified colorectal surgeons in the Western suburbs and has been recognized throughout his career as an outstanding teacher by medical students, surgical residents and colleagues alike. His area of specialty includes benign and malignant disorders of the colon, rectum and anus and minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. Ryan Headley

Dr. Headley is from the Chicago area. He attended Illinois Wesleyan University for college and the University of Iowa for medical school. He returned to Chicago to complete his surgical training at the University of Chicago where he was the executive chief resident. As a board certified surgeon Dr Headley practices the full range of general surgery and is keenly interested in bariatric surgery. He is known by staff and patients alike for his straight-forward manner of speaking.

Dr. Mark Choh

After spending time in the New England area for high school at Phillips Exeter and college and medical school, Dr. Choh returned to the Chicagoland area and completed his residency at Rush University Medical Center in 2008. He went on to perform additional specialty training in minimally invasive general surgery, including advanced laparoscopic surgery, bariatrics, and robotic surgery at the University of Illinois-Chicago before joining Suburban Surgical Associates.

As a member of the Suburban Metabolic Institute, Dr. Choh is committed to the multidisciplinary approach involved in the surgical treatment of obesity. His clinical interests also include hepatobiliary surgery, esophageal and gastric disorders, and abdominal wall disorders.

Dr. Jennifer Glover

A native of Chicago-land, Dr. Glover received her M.D. from Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. She continued her residency in General Surgery at the University of Chicago and went on to complete fellowships in both Surgical Critical Care and Minimally Invasive Surgery. Dr. Glover is board certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care and is a Clinical Instructor of Surgery for Northwestern, Feinberg School of Medicine.

Dr. Robin Favor

Dr. Robin Favor graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine, and completed her General Surgery Residency at the Rush University Medical Center/Cook County Hospital Integrated Program. She is board certified in General Surgery and has been in practice for 6 years. Surgical procedures that she performs include hernia surgery, colon cancer surgery, breast surgery, and advanced laparoscopic surgery.
